Warranty
Hardware Warranty
ThinClients, due to the fact that they have no fans or moving parts, generally have a long lifespan. However, if a ThinClient does fail, your device will be repaired or replaced free of charge within the warranty period.
Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Process
Please use our ticket system for RMA notification.
After creating a new case, it will be checked whether the ThinClient is still within the hardware warranty period.
You will then receive a merchandise return slip, which you should include for further allocation of the return delivery. Please follow this description.
Warranty Terms
The offer of openthinclient GmbH is exclusively for commercial customers (B2B).
ThinClient hardware is sold exclusively with a warranty, purchase without warranty is not possible. The hardware warranty covers the technical readiness of the devices for use. Comprehensive warranty service (full maintenance) for software functions is available in conjunction with a software rental contract for the openthinclient management server.
The buyer must immediately check the delivered goods for any defects upon receipt and inform openthinclient of any existing defects.
In case of warranty claims in B2B business, the buyer bears the costs of returning the goods to openthinclient.
When purchasing ThinClient hardware, the usage rights & support for the openthinclient software are included for a period of 24 months.*
*Only in combination with a BUSINESS 50 package. The price of the BUSINESS 50 package is reduced by the value of the usage rights already included with the purchase of the hardware.

For professional support, it is necessary to order a BUSINESS 50 package. For free community support, please use the forum administrator.de.
Free Use of the Software (Without Support)
You can use the openthinclient software for this ThinClient model as well as for your own client hardware, e.g., existing PCs, with an installation size of up to 24 ThinClients free of charge.
