Terms and conditions of guarantee

The offer from openthinclient gmbh is exclusively aimed at
to commercial customers (B2B).

The warranty is a minimum of 24 months (unless otherwise selected) from the date of delivery.
The buyer must check the delivered goods for any defects immediately upon receipt and notify any existing defects.

In the case of warranty claims in B2B business, the buyer bears the costs for returning the goods to openthinclient.

The warranty covers the functionality of the hardware itself. This means the function of the power supply, ThinClient, all ports, RAM, CPU, mainboard, and offers the possibility to install an operating system for these system components.

The warranty does not cover individual functions within the operating system or software running on the Thin Client.

Please register and have the serial number of the Thin Client ready.

Ticket system

To simplify communication for you and us regarding the processing of a hardware defect, we use a ticketing system.

Here you can quickly and easily perform an operation of type Return Merchandise Authorisation Set it up. You will see the processing progress, i.e. whether the device is still under warranty, being repaired or replaced.

Thin clients typically have a long service life due to the fact that they have no fans or moving parts. However, should a thin client ever cease to function, your device will be repaired or replaced free of charge within the warranty period.

  • Register on our ticketing system
  • Create a new ticket of type „Defective Device RMA“
  • Enter the serial number and error description there
  • You will then receive a returns note within 24 hours.
  • Print this and attach it to the faulty ThinClient.
