Professional support of the openthinclient solution is based on the proper installation and certification of the software installation to our customers. Normally, the on-site installation is completed within half a day.
The other half-day consists of basic training for the administrators.

The next day, test-users, or even the entire company can start and operate efficiently with the openthinclient software -  we guarantee it.

Since the openthinclient software is based on open source, it is always possible to modify all the components to adjust or add new features. Naturally the openthinclient gmbh can offer you custom services, in modifying our software solution to your needs.
 

Examples:

  • Support of specific thin clients, or special hardware (eg network cards)
  • Support for peripheral devices (card readers for example)
  • Adapting openthinclient software (ie add another language)
  • Add software packages (e.g. NX client)

Administrator-Training

  • Basic principle of the openthinclient Software Suite
  • Creating and managing applications, groups, types of hardware, thin clients, printers and locations.
  • Updates via the package manager
  • Backup
  • User-Helpdesk
  • 1st Level Support

User-Training

  • Cabling, switching on and off of the thin clients
  • Applications and parameters
  • Use of peripherals, for example Printers
  • Procedure for malfunctions

Partner-Training

  • Discuss the need of system resources
  • Network and Infrastructure
  • Backup and recovery
  • Error diagnostics and logfile handling
  • 2nd Level Support
